Scott and Katie grew up as childhood friends until Scott's family moved away.  Many years later, Scott decided to look up his old childhood friend... and the rest is history.  Pears and almonds were the theme of their wedding, as Scott grew up on an almond farm and Katie grew up on a pear farm, and Katie opted for a color palette of classic white, cream and green.   As a spring rain was falling, Scott and Katie said their 'I do's' under a clear-topped tent, in front of a breath-taking arbor (built by Scott), covered with flowers and hung with pear and almond pomander balls.
